Series One Video Conference Equipment

This Lenovo Series One device is built as dedicated video conference equipment for business environments. It functions as a desktop computer designed to manage meeting-room calls without requiring a separate PC. The unit ships without a monitor, allowing organisations to pair it with existing displays. It targets teams that need a purpose-built appliance for consistent collaboration.

Replaces a general-purpose PC in meeting rooms

A standard desktop running conferencing software can introduce driver updates, background tasks and fan noise that disrupt calls. This appliance removes those variables by running only the conferencing workload. The jump is worth it when IT wants a fixed configuration that boots straight into the meeting application and stays there. It is not for buyers who need a workstation that also runs local productivity apps.

Handles scheduled calls with WXGA content sharing

The system supports WXGA graphics modes for presenting slides, documents and screen captures during a session. It comfortably drives a single display at that resolution for the duration of a typical meeting. Headroom runs out when a room requires multiple simultaneous content streams, higher-resolution sources or local recording beyond the built-in capability.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the Lenovo Series One Video Conference Equipment need to sit on?

The unit is a desktop computer with no screen included, so it only needs enough flat surface for the chassis itself.

How is the Lenovo Series One Video Conference Equipment installed, and what step is often missed?

Place the desktop on a stable surface, connect power and the required display cable, then attach any USB peripherals; the step often missed is confirming the external monitor is set to the correct input before powering on.

What maintenance or replacement will the Lenovo Series One Video Conference Equipment need later?

Plan to clean dust from the chassis vents periodically and replace the CMOS battery when the system clock starts to drift.
