Questions about this item

How do I install a second DDR3 1600 module into the open memory slot, and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover, insert the stick at an angle until the clips click, then verify 8 GB appears in BIOS; the missed step is seating the module fully before locking it.

Which part will need replacement first under daily use — the 500 GB mechanical drive or the 6-cell battery?

The 500 GB HDD typically fails before the battery; plan to swap it for an SSD once SMART warnings appear.

What thermal limit appears first when the Core i7-3520M and NVS 5400M run flat-out for an hour?

The GPU hits its 90 °C throttle point before the CPU, causing the NVS 5400M to down-clock first.
