Everyday Chromebook for cloud workflows

The Lenovo 14E Chromebook runs Chrome OS on an AMD A4-9120C dual-core processor that operates between 1.6 GHz and 2.4 GHz. Four gigabytes of LPDDR4X memory and 32 GB of eMMC storage handle web apps and documents. The 14-inch LCD panel uses TN technology at 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input.

Fanless thermal profile and battery life

The processor and Radeon R3 graphics share system memory and run without a discrete fan, so the chassis stays silent during typical browsing and video playback. A three-cell lithium-polymer battery powers the device, while the included AC adapter accepts 120 V and 230 V inputs for worldwide use.

Ready-to-use accessories in the box

The package supplies the Chromebook, the integrated battery and the AC adapter so the system works immediately after unboxing. A microSD card reader expands local storage for offline files. Built-in Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth and an RJ-45 Ethernet port provide wired and wireless connectivity options.

Questions about this item

How do I install apps on this Chrome OS laptop and what step do people often miss?

Apps install from the Google Play Store or Chrome Web Store after signing in with a Google account; the step many skip is accepting the Play Store terms during first setup.

What maintenance or replacement will the 32 GB eMMC and 4 GB LPDDR4X need later?

The eMMC storage and LPDDR4X memory are soldered and cannot be upgraded; keep free space above a few gigabytes and restart weekly to clear cached data.

What limit appears first on the AMD A4-9120C dual-core 1.6 GHz to 2.4 GHz during sustained use?

The processor thermal ceiling throttles clocks from 2.4 GHz back toward 1.6 GHz once the 3-cell battery and passive cooling saturate.
