Lenovo IdeaCentre Tower 8 Business Desktop

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Tower 8 is a business desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor with integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed. The tower chassis measures 11.47 x 3.5 x 13.37 inches and weighs 9.36 lb. A USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Installation notes and common issues

The system arrives fully assembled and ready to power on. The 260W power supply is internal and fixed. Memory can be expanded up to 64GB DDR5 using the available slots. Storage supports up to 2TB via an M.2 NVMe slot. Opening the case may require removing side-panel screws; take care not to disturb the Wi-Fi 6 antenna cables routed near the panel.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm that your workspace accommodates the tower's 11.47-inch depth and 13.37-inch height. The integrated Radeon 780M graphics drive displays through the rear video outputs; no discrete graphics card is installed. Ensure your monitors use compatible interfaces such as HDMI or DisplayPort. The 260W power supply limits future upgrades to low-power components only.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the AMD Radeon 780M graphics are active after first boot?

Open Device Manager in Windows 11 Pro and verify the display adapter lists AMD Radeon 780M; the Copilot+ PC badge on the chassis also indicates the NPU is enabled.

What ships inside the box and what must I provide separately?

The tower, a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and the 260 W power cable are included; a display, its cable, and any additional peripherals are not supplied.

Should I choose the 32 GB DDR5 configuration or the 64 GB DDR5 option?

The 32 GB DDR5 model suits typical business workloads; select 64 GB DDR5 only if you regularly run large virtual machines or memory-intensive data sets.
