What this laptop is and who it suits

The Lenovo Ideapad 1 is a 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen laptop powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor with four cores and eight threads. It ships with 8GB of DDR5 memory and a 256GB SSD, running Windows 11 S out of the box. A stylus pen is included for direct screen input.

Installing and common issues

The device arrives fully assembled with the operating system pre-installed, so no internal hardware installation is required. Windows 11 S permits apps only from the Microsoft Store; switching out of S mode is a one-way change handled in Settings. The non-backlit keyboard and lack of a fingerprint reader are fixed hardware traits.

Check your setup before ordering

Confirm that your workflow accepts Windows 11 S restrictions and that 8GB of soldered DDR5 meets your multitasking needs, as memory cannot be upgraded. Verify that the port selection — HDMI, one USB-C 3.2, one USB-A 3.2, one USB-A 2.0, plus audio jacks — covers your peripherals. The 3.52 lb chassis measures 14.17 x 9.29 x 0.7 inches.
