16″ 2-in-1 convertible for mobile productivity

The IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 is a 16.0″ touchscreen laptop that folds through 360 degrees into laptop, tent, stand and tablet modes. It ships with Windows 11 Home, an Intel Core 5 120U processor with 10 cores at 1.4 GHz, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid-state drive. The WUXGA IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1200 resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate with TV Low Blue Light certification.

No user installation required — sealed ultraportable

Memory is soldered to the board and capped at 16 GB, so there is no SO-DIMM slot to upgrade. The 512 GB drive is the only internal storage; adding a second drive is not possible. Opening the chassis voids the manufacturer warranty and risks damaging the 0.72 in aluminium top cover and PC ABS base. The fingerprint reader and 1080p webcam with privacy shutter work immediately after the initial Windows setup.

Verify your workflow fits the fixed specification

Buyers who need more than 16 GB of RAM or a discrete graphics processor should look elsewhere. The 60 Hz panel and integrated Intel Graphics suit office, school and streaming tasks but not high-refresh gaming or colour-critical creative work. Battery life is rated at 9 hours; the 4.4 lb weight and single 1.4 GHz base clock limit sustained heavy loads. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth handle wireless connectivity.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 360-degree hinge switches cleanly between laptop, tent, stand and tablet modes after setup?

Open the hinge fully and cycle through each mode; the display should stay stable at every angle and the on-screen orientation will rotate automatically in Windows 11 Home.

Which accessories are included in the box and what must I purchase separately for full functionality?

The box contains the laptop with its 16 GB DDR4 memory and 512 GB storage already installed, the power adapter and documentation; no stylus, external drive or docking station is bundled.

Should I choose the 16 GB / 512 GB configuration or is a higher-capacity version available for heavier workloads?

This model is offered with 16 GB of soldered DDR4 memory and a 512 GB drive; maximum supported RAM is 16 GB, so no larger memory option exists for this chassis.
