16-inch OLED touchscreen for creators

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i pairs a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 386H with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU and 32GB of soldered LPDDR5x-8533 memory. A 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe drive and a 16-inch 2880x1800 OLED panel running at 120Hz give content creators the colour accuracy and responsiveness needed for heavy multitasking workflows.

Windows 11 Home and Dolby Atmos audio

Microsoft Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed alongside an FHD 1080p IR camera with privacy shutter and ToF sensor for secure login. Stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos and a dual-microphone array handle calls and media playback without extra peripherals. The white-backlit keyboard includes a Copilot key and numeric keypad for productivity shortcuts.

Fixed memory and proprietary power

All 32GB of LPDDR5x memory is soldered, so capacity cannot be upgraded after purchase. The 170W Slim Tip adapter uses a proprietary 3-pin connector, limiting replacement options to compatible Lenovo units. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports support USB PD 65-100W charging, offering an alternative if the original brick is unavailable.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB of soldered LPDDR5x memory be upgraded later?

The 32 GB LPDDR5x-8533 is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded or replaced.

What thermal limit appears first when the Core Ultra 9 386H and RTX 5050 run at full load for extended periods?

The 170 W power adapter caps combined CPU and GPU draw, so sustained performance will throttle to stay within that envelope.

How loud do the fans get and how hot does the chassis feel during an all-day workload?

Under continuous load the dual-fan system spins up audibly; the aluminium palm rest and underside become warm but remain within comfortable touch limits.
