Lenovo ThinkPad P71 laptop i7-7700HQ 8GB 256GB+1TB 17.3" Quadro M620M

Mobile workstation for ISV workloads

The Lenovo ThinkPad P71 is a 17.3" mobile workstation built for certified professional applications. Its Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor reaches 3.80 GHz and provides four cores for demanding tasks. Windows 7 Professional 64-bit comes pre-installed for legacy software compatibility. ISV certification covers over 100 independent software vendor applications.

Dual-drive storage with 8 GB DDR4

A 256 GB M.2 NGFF SSD handles the operating system and active project files. A 1 TB hard disk adds bulk capacity for archives and large datasets. The 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz memory supports moderate multitasking but will limit very large models or heavy virtualisation. Memory upgrades are not described in the supplied data.

Quadro M620M graphics and security features

The NVIDIA Quadro M620M GPU with 2 GB memory drives the 1920 x 1080 IPS anti-glare display for CAD and 3D visualisation. A fingerprint reader and secure chip provide hardware-based authentication. The spill-resistant keyboard includes a TrackPoint pointing device. Buyers needing higher GPU memory or a newer operating system should consider other options.
