Ultraportable aluminium chassis

The Lenovo IdeaPad U400 is a 14.0" ultrabook with a full aluminium gunmetal body weighing up to 4.9 lbs. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and targets mobile professionals who value slim design and integrated optical media support.

From mechanical drive to 256GB solid state

The 256GB SSD replaces a traditional hard drive and delivers faster boot and application load times. The jump is worth it when daily work involves frequent file access or cold starts on battery power.

Discrete Radeon graphics under sustained load

The AMD Radeon HD 6470M discrete GPU works alongside Intel HD Graphics 3000 for heavier visual tasks. During extended sessions the aluminium chassis helps dissipate heat while the integrated slot-in DVD drive remains available.
