Compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny is a refurbished desktop PC built around an Intel Core i5-8500T six-core processor running at 2.10GHz. It ships with 8GB of memory and a 256GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Office deployments and space-limited desks

This system suits organisations that need a small footprint workstation for standard productivity tasks such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. The tiny chassis measures 7.2 by 7 by 1.4 inches and weighs 2.5 lbs. Buyers who require discrete graphics performance or multiple internal drive bays should look at larger form-factor desktops.

Video output limited to DisplayPort 1.2

The rear panel provides two DisplayPort 1.2 connectors as the only native video outputs. No HDMI or VGA ports are present, so monitors with those inputs will need active adapters or docks. This single detail decides whether the unit can connect to existing displays without extra hardware.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Intel Core i5-8500T is running at its 2.10GHz base frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and watch the CPU speed settle at 2.10GHz while the system is idle.

The box lists a USB keyboard and USB mouse — are any cables or adapters needed to use them?

Both peripherals connect directly to the four rear USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports; no extra cables or adapters are required.

Should I choose the 256GB NVMe model or look for a larger drive version?

This part number ships with a 256GB NVMe drive; if you need more capacity you would have to select a different part number.
