Legion 5 15 WQXGA gaming laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is a 15.1 inch gaming laptop built around a WQXGA display and an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD, running Windows 11 Home. The system targets players who want high refresh visuals and strong multi-threaded performance in a portable chassis.

RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. It operates alongside integrated graphics in a dual configuration, driving the 2560 x 1600 panel and external displays through HDMI 2.1 and USB-C with DisplayPort 2.1. Buyers needing more VRAM or a higher GPU tier should look elsewhere.

Thermals and power in normal use

The 13.58 x 10.05 x 0.85 inch chassis weighs 4.1 pounds and uses a 24-zone RGB backlit keyboard. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 802.11be 2x2 and Bluetooth 5.4. Ports supply up to 100W USB PD on one USB-C and 40Gbps USB4 on the other, so power delivery and high-speed data share the same connectors during typical gaming sessions.
