802.11ac wireless LAN limits peak throughput

The listed WLAN spec is 802.11ac, which caps real-world speed below newer Wi-Fi standards. Crowded 5 GHz channels and distance from the access point reduce sustained rates further. A wired Ethernet port is available for consistent low-latency traffic.

Questions about this item

What maintenance or replacement will the 64GB DDR5 4800 memory need later?

The 64GB DDR5 4800 memory is soldered and not user-replaceable; if a fault develops the board must be serviced by a qualified technician.

What limit shows up first on the i9 14900HX under sustained load?

The 24-core 14900HX hits its 5.8 GHz turbo ceiling and thermal throttle point before the 8GB RTX 5070 becomes the bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the 165 Hz OLED runs all day?

Fans spin up to an audible but not intrusive level; the 0.84-inch thick chassis stays warm on the keyboard deck while the bottom surface remains comfortable for lap use.
