Legion 5i Core Ultra 9 gaming laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5i is a 16-inch gaming laptop built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with 24 cores and 36 MB L3 cache. It targets gamers and creators who want high frame rates on a 240 Hz IPS panel at 2560 x 1600 resolution. The system ships with Windows 11 Home and is sold in refurbished condition.

Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity

One Thunderbolt 4 port provides USB4 bandwidth for external GPUs or fast storage, while an HDMI 2.1 output drives external displays. Two USB-A ports at 5 Gbps and one at 10 Gbps handle peripherals, and Wi-Fi 7 with 802.11be plus gigabit LAN keep network latency low.

32 GB DDR5 and 1 TB NVMe headroom

The 32 GB of DDR5 5600 memory and 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD give comfortable space for modern titles and multitasking. Demanding workloads that exceed 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory or require more than 1 TB of fast storage will hit the limits of this configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 GB of DDR5 memory be sufficient for modern AAA games and multitasking?

The laptop ships with 32 GB of DDR5 5600 memory. That capacity handles current AAA titles and heavy multitasking without needing an immediate upgrade.

Can I connect an external 4K monitor at high refresh rate over the HDMI port?

The HDMI 2.1 port supports 4K resolution at up to 240 Hz, so a compatible external monitor will run at its native refresh rate.

Does the 1 TB NVMe SSD use a standard M.2 2242 form factor for easy expansion?

The primary drive is an M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe module. An additional M.2 slot is available if you need more storage later.
