15.1" OLED 165Hz Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 is a 15.1-inch gaming laptop built around a WQXGA OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and HDR 600 True Black certification. It targets gamers and students who want high colour accuracy and fast motion handling in a portable chassis.

OLED Panel Practical Limits

The 2560 x 1600 OLED screen covers 100% DCI-P3 and reaches 500 nits brightness, but its 165Hz refresh rate is the hard ceiling for motion clarity. The 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer on the RTX 5060 GPU limits texture capacity at this resolution, and the 512GB SSD will fill quickly with modern game installs.

Installation and Common Issues

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed so the system boots to a usable desktop immediately. The 4-cell battery and 1.00 lbs weight make physical handling easy, but the single-core processor designation in the spec sheet suggests a possible data error that could confuse troubleshooting. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs peripherals without extra drivers.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 512GB SSD or look for a larger capacity?

The model ships with a 512GB solid-state drive. If you install many large titles or keep local media libraries, you may want to add a second drive later.

What does the 165Hz refresh rate mean for actual gameplay?

The OLED panel refreshes at 165Hz, so motion stays sharp in fast-paced shooters and the 500-nit HDR 600 True Black output keeps highlights vivid.

Which GPU interface does the RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 use and what does it cap?

The laptop GPU connects through the platform's PCIe lanes; the 8GB GDDR7 frame buffer and 5060 core set the practical ceiling for texture resolution and ray-tracing workloads.
