Legion Pro 7i Gaming Laptop

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is a 16-inch gaming laptop built for competitive players and content creators who need desktop-class speed in a portable chassis. It pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU and 32 GB of DDR5 memory. The 2560 x 1600 OLED panel runs at 240 Hz with 500 nits brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed.

Upgrade Path

This system replaces an older gaming laptop or a mid-range desktop when you need higher frame rates at 2560 x 1600 resolution and faster rendering for creative workloads. The jump is worth it if your current machine struggles with 240 Hz gameplay, lacks a 24-core CPU with 13 TOPS NPU performance, or cannot drive an OLED panel with G-Sync support. Buyers staying at 1080p or using lighter productivity apps will not use the full headroom.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your external monitors support the laptop's video outputs for 240 Hz signals at 2560 x 1600. Confirm your docking station or hub can handle the bandwidth required by the dedicated GPU and Wi-Fi 7 plus Bluetooth 5.4 peripherals. Ensure your carrying bag fits a 16-inch chassis and that your power outlets accept the supplied adapter. The webcam blocker and 5 MP camera are built in, so no extra privacy cover is needed.
