The Lenovo LOQ 15 is a 15.6 inch Full HD gaming laptop with a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 250 octa-core processor with 16 threads and a 5.1 GHz max turbo frequency. The system includes 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe SSD. It ships with Windows 11 and an Office 2024 license.

Sustained Load Behaviour with RTX 5060

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU carries 8GB of GDDR7 video memory for graphics workloads. The chassis measures 13.44 by 9.26 by 0.85 inches and weighs 5.7 pounds, providing the physical envelope for thermal management. An 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 module handles wireless connectivity during extended sessions. The 1920 by 1080 display maintains 144Hz output under continuous use.

Installation and Common Issues

The unit arrives with the factory seal opened by engineers for the memory and storage upgrades, so the 64GB DDR5 and 2TB PCIe SSD are already installed. Ports include HDMI 2.1, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and a 3.5mm audio combo jack for peripheral setup. A backlit keyboard and webcam are integrated, while no fingerprint reader or SD card reader is present. Buyers should verify the upgraded components match the listed specifications upon receipt.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the Ryzen 7 250 with RTX 5060 get during all-day sessions?

The 15.6-inch chassis uses a standard cooling design; sustained loads will spin the fans audibly and warm the keyboard deck, so a hard flat surface helps the 13.44 x 9.26 x 0.85 inch body dissipate heat.

What cables or peripherals must I already own to use the HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports?

You need an HDMI 2.1 cable for 144 Hz external output and standard USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 devices for the three Type-A ports; the single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port accepts USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 peripherals.

Will my older USB-A 3.0 mouse and 1080p 60 Hz monitor work with the Ryzen 7 250 and RTX 5060?

Yes — the three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are backward compatible with USB 3.0 devices, and the HDMI 2.1 port drives a 1920 x 1080 60 Hz display without adapters.
