Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop i7-13650HX

This 15.6-inch gaming laptop pairs an Intel Core i7-13650HX 14-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. It ships with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Home and an Office 2024 licence are pre-installed for immediate productivity.

144Hz FHD display and RTX 5050 graphics

The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 144Hz for smooth motion in fast-paced titles. The RTX 5050 provides 8GB GDDR7 video memory to drive modern games at native resolution. HDMI 2.1 output supports external high-refresh displays. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle wireless connectivity.

Upgrade from 60Hz panels and older GPUs

Buyers moving from a 60Hz screen gain visibly smoother gameplay without changing resolution. The RTX 5050 replaces mid-range mobile GPUs that lack GDDR7 memory bandwidth. The jump is worth it when 144Hz responsiveness and current-generation graphics features matter for competitive or new releases.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16 GB DDR5 and 1 TB PCIe SSD configuration or look for a different capacity?

The laptop ships with 16 GB DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. That amount of RAM handles modern games and multitasking, while the terabyte drive stores a large library without relying on external storage.

What does the 4.9 GHz turbo frequency mean once the i7-13650HX is inside the chassis?

The 14-core i7-13650HX can boost up to 4.9 GHz on demanding threads, giving short bursts of high single-core speed for game logic and background tasks while the cooling system manages sustained loads.

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port at 10 Gbps cap in practice?

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port delivers up to 10 Gbps data transfer, supports DisplayPort video output and Power Delivery charging, so it can drive an external monitor and power the laptop simultaneously.
