Lenovo LOQ 15 gaming laptop

The Lenovo LOQ 15 is a 15.6 inch gaming laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-13650HX 14-core processor reaching 4.9 GHz. It pairs 32GB of DDR5 memory with a 2TB PCIe SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU carrying 8GB of GDDR7 video memory. The 144Hz FHD display and Windows 11 Home complete a system built for modern gaming and multitasking workloads.

Installation and common issues

As a complete laptop there is no internal assembly required; simply unbox, connect the power adapter and follow the Windows 11 setup wizard. The unit arrives with the manufacturer seal opened by engineers for the specified memory and storage configuration, so the original packaging shows signs of inspection. Buyers should verify the 32GB DDR5 and 2TB PCIe SSD are detected in BIOS on first boot and confirm the 144Hz panel is selected in display settings.

Suitable users and alternatives

This configuration suits gamers and content creators who want high core counts, fast GDDR7 graphics and a large PCIe SSD in a 15.6 inch chassis with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Users needing a touchscreen, an SD card reader, a fingerprint reader or a lighter ultraportable form factor should consider other models. The 14.17 x 10.19 x 0.94 inch footprint and 5.28 pound weight make it a desk-friendly machine rather than a daily commuter.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 144Hz panel is running at its rated refresh rate after setup?

Open Windows display settings, choose the 15.6" FHD screen, and set the refresh rate to 144Hz; the on-screen test pattern will show smooth motion without tearing.

What ships in the box and what must I purchase separately for this Lenovo LOQ 15?

The laptop, power adapter with rectangle plug, and documentation are included; no SD card reader or optical drive is present, so add external storage or peripherals if needed.
