Refurbished ThinkPad T420 14.0" Laptop

This refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T420 is a 14.0-inch laptop powered by a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor at 2.50 GHz. It comes with 4 GB of memory and a 320 GB hard drive, running Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit. The LED-backlit display has a 1440 x 900 resolution and integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. A DVDRW drive is included.

Suits light office work; not for heavy multitaskers

The dual-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM make this unit suitable for basic document editing, email and web browsing on a single external monitor via VGA or DisplayPort. Buyers who want more storage space, a dedicated graphics card, or the ability to add memory modules should look elsewhere because both memory slots are already occupied and the HDD capacity is modest.

Fixed 4 GB memory with zero free slots

The system ships with 4 GB installed across two slots and zero slots available, so the memory cannot be expanded beyond the factory configuration. This single constraint determines whether the laptop can handle your workload without paging to the hard drive.

Questions about this item

Will the T420's VGA and USB 2.0 ports drive my older external monitor and keyboard?

The T420 includes a VGA output and multiple USB 2.0 ports, so legacy displays and wired keyboards connect without adapters.

How can I verify the Intel HD Graphics 3000 is active after installing Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit?

Open Device Manager and confirm Intel HD Graphics 3000 appears under Display adapters with no error icon.

Does the NE5-0027 ship with a power adapter and recovery media, or must I source them?

The unit includes an AC adapter; Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit is pre-installed, so no separate recovery discs are required.
