Lenovo T450 refurbished business laptop

This Lenovo T450 is a refurbished 14.0 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-5300U dual-core processor. It ships with 4GB of memory and a 120GB SSD running Windows 10 Home 64-Bit. The non-touch display has a 1366 x 768 resolution. It is suited for office tasks and light productivity.

Sustained load behaviour

The dual-core Broadwell processor handles typical office workloads such as document editing and web browsing without issue. Under heavier multi-tasking the 4GB memory limit becomes the primary bottleneck before the CPU throttles. The 120GB SSD keeps boot and application launch times consistent during extended sessions. Thermal management is adequate for the intended business use case.

Installation notes and B-grade condition caveats

As a refurbished B-grade unit the laptop may arrive with dents, chips or scuffs on the chassis, a shiny or worn keyboard and fine scratches on the screen. Windows 10 Home 64-Bit is pre-installed and a Windows 11 Pro upgrade path is noted by the supplier. Buyers needing more than 4GB of memory or a larger SSD should look elsewhere as the base configuration is fixed.

Questions about this item

Does the Core i5-5300U run hot or loud when the T450 is used all day?

The dual-core processor is designed for thin-and-light business laptops, so fan noise stays low and surface temperatures remain comfortable during typical office workloads; sustained heavy tasks will spin the fan higher.

What must I already own to start using this T450 right away?

The unit ships with Windows 10 Home 64-bit installed on the 120 GB SSD and 4 GB of memory, so only a power adapter and your user credentials are required to begin working.

Will my older VGA monitor and USB 2.0 peripherals work with the T450?

The laptop includes a VGA port and standard USB-A sockets, so legacy displays and USB 2.0 devices connect directly without adapters.
