Redundant Power Supply for RackSwitch G7000

This Lenovo unit delivers hot-swap redundancy for the RackSwitch G7000 Ethernet switch. It keeps the network operating when a primary supply fails. The part is built for data-centre racks that cannot tolerate unplanned downtime. Buyers who need a supply for a different switch model should look elsewhere.

Front-loading design fits standard 1U bay

The module slides into the front of the chassis without tools. Alignment pins guide the connector to the backplane, so mis-seating is rare. A common error is forgetting to engage the release latch, which leaves the unit powered but not secured. No cable routing is required inside the rack.

11.90 lb unit occupies 1.7 by 17.3 by 15 inches

The supply fits a single 1U slot and leaves headroom for a second module in the paired bay. It comfortably handles the full switching load of the G7000 platform. Capacity runs out only if both bays are populated and one unit fails while the other is already at its limit.
