Compact desktop with integrated display

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q is a mini PC bundled with a 24-inch LED monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, and Windows 11 Pro. An AMD PRO A12-9800E processor with Radeon graphics delivers reliable performance for everyday office tasks, web browsing and online classes. The 128GB SSD provides fast boot-up and application loading in a space-saving chassis.

Build integration and expandability

The tiny form factor frees desk space and requires only a single power adapter for the main unit, while the monitor connects via DisplayPort. USB 3.1 and USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and audio jacks handle peripherals and wired networking without extra adapters. Integrated Radeon Vega 11 graphics remove the need for a discrete card, keeping cabling simple. Buyers who want more storage or additional video outputs will need external solutions.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 3.10 GHz base clock and 3.80 GHz max turbo frequency support steady performance during extended document editing, video calls and multitasking. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 memory maintains responsiveness across browser tabs and office applications over long sessions. Passive thermal design in the compact chassis manages heat for typical business workloads without audible fan noise. Users needing continuous heavy compute or 3D rendering should consider larger systems.

Questions about this item

Does the AMD PRO A12-9800E throttle at its 3.80 GHz max turbo under sustained load?

The processor runs at a 3.10 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.80 GHz max turbo; sustained workloads will typically settle near the base clock as thermal limits are reached.

How loud and warm does the ThinkCentre M715q get when running all day?

The compact mini PC uses a small internal fan; under continuous office workloads it produces a low hum and the chassis becomes warm but not hot to the touch.

What cables or peripherals do I need to add to use the included 24-inch monitor?

The monitor connects via the supplied DisplayPort cable; the box also includes a wireless keyboard, mouse and Wi-Fi adapter so no extra accessories are required.
