Compact AMD PRO desktop for office and learning

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny delivers a quad-core AMD PRO A10-9700E processor running up to 3.00 GHz with integrated Radeon R7 graphics. It ships with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD under Windows 11 Pro. The tiny form factor fits tight workspaces while handling everyday productivity, web browsing and online learning tasks.

Sustained workload behaviour

The low-power AMD PRO A10-9700E maintains consistent clocks during extended office sessions without thermal throttling. Integrated Radeon R7 graphics share system memory, so prolonged multitasking stays smooth within the 32GB DDR4 pool. The 512GB SSD keeps boot and application load times steady across repeated daily use.

Thermals noise and power draw

The tiny chassis uses a compact cooler designed for the processor's efficient power envelope, keeping fan noise low in typical office ambient temperatures. Power consumption remains modest during document editing, video calls and browser workloads. The small footprint allows discreet placement behind a monitor or under a desk without adding audible distraction.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the M715q get when it runs office tasks all day?

The AMD PRO A10-9700E is a low-power quad-core chip with integrated Radeon R7 graphics; the tiny chassis uses a small fan that stays quiet during typical workloads and the case only becomes warm to the touch.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to connect the M715q?

The unit provides standard video outputs for the integrated Radeon R7 graphics; match those ports to your monitor inputs and use the appropriate cables.

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work if I want to expand the 32 GB already installed?

The system uses DDR4 SO-DIMM slots; any compatible DDR4 SO-DIMM at the same voltage and speed can be added alongside the factory 32 GB.
