Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 SFF Desktop

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720 is a small-form-factor desktop PC built for business use. It runs on an Intel Pentium Gold G5400 processor at 3.70 GHz with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed, and a wired keyboard and mouse are included. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 610 handles display output through DisplayPort connections.

Ideal for office tasks and basic home use

The system suits users who need a compact, quiet machine for everyday productivity, web browsing and email. Buyers who require more storage capacity, a dedicated graphics card for creative workloads, or the ability to expand memory beyond 16 GB should consider a different configuration. The small chassis limits internal upgrade space for additional drives or full-size expansion cards.

8 GB DDR4 memory with 16 GB maximum

This desktop ships with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and supports a maximum of 16 GB across its slots. That ceiling determines whether the PC can handle heavier multitasking or memory-intensive applications. If your workflow demands more than 16 GB, this platform will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect from the Pentium Gold G5400 running at 3.70GHz all day?

The 54 W processor is cooled by a compact SFF heatsink; under sustained load the fan becomes audible but stays within typical office background levels.

Which display cable do I need to connect a monitor to the DisplayPort outputs on this M720?

A standard DisplayPort cable is required; the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 610 drives up to 4K resolution through those ports.

Will my existing DDR4 memory modules work if I want to expand beyond the installed 8GB?

Yes — the board accepts DDR4 UDIMMs up to a total of 16 GB, so any compatible DDR4 sticks you already own can be added.
