Compact all-in-one with 22-inch IPS display

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q integrates a 22-inch Full HD IPS panel into a micro form-factor chassis, delivering a complete desktop workspace in a single unit. An 8th-generation Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor runs at 3.0 GHz with a 4.10 GHz turbo ceiling, paired with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. Storage combines a 512 GB M.2 solid-state drive for the operating system and a 1 TB hard drive for bulk data, while a DVD-ROM drive handles legacy media. Windows 10 Pro comes pre-installed alongside a USB keyboard and mouse.

Suited to office desks needing zero-cable clutter

The all-in-one design removes the separate tower, making it ideal for reception areas, hot-desking rows or home offices where surface space is limited. Buyers who require discrete graphics acceleration for CAD, video editing or modern gaming should look elsewhere, as the system relies solely on Intel UHD Graphics. The micro chassis also prevents internal GPU upgrades, so the integrated graphics capability is fixed for the life of the unit. Organisations needing VESA mounting or multi-monitor arrays will need a different form factor.

22-inch FHD IPS panel built into the chassis

The defining specification is the integrated 22-inch Full HD IPS display, which sets the viewing area, colour consistency and physical footprint in a single decision. If the screen size or panel technology does not match the intended workflow, no internal component change can alter it.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.1 GHz maximum turbo frequency of the i5-8500 affect everyday workloads on this all-in-one?

What display interface does the built-in 22 inch monitor use internally?

The all-in-one design routes the Intel UHD Graphics output directly to the panel through the internal chassis connection.

What physical space is required to mount or place the M720q Tiny chassis?

The micro form factor case is designed for VESA mounting behind the included monitor or for desk placement with a minimal footprint.
