Compact business desktop for office work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny desktop uses an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.10 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory. A 256 GB M.2 SSD and a 1 TB SSD provide fast boot and ample file space. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Included peripherals and wireless add convenience

A USB keyboard and mouse are supplied so the system is ready to use out of the box. A USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle adds wireless connectivity without internal antennas. The DVD-ROM drive handles legacy media and software installation.

Suits small offices needing a quiet, space-saving PC

Buyers who want a compact desktop with dual solid-state storage and included input devices will find this model practical. Those who need discrete graphics, internal expansion slots or a higher multi-core processor should look at larger form-factor workstations.

Questions about this item

Can the 16 GB DDR4 memory be expanded beyond the installed amount?

The system supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, so the installed 16 GB can be increased by adding compatible modules.

What limits sustained performance of the Intel Core i5-8500 processor?

The processor has a 65 W thermal design power, which is the primary limit that appears during prolonged heavy workloads.

How much heat and noise does the tiny desktop produce when running continuously?

The 65 W processor and compact Micro form factor mean heat output is moderate; fan noise will be audible but typical for a business-class tiny desktop under load.
