Compact desktop bundle for office work

This Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q mini PC pairs an Intel Core i5-8500T processor with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the tiny form-factor chassis. A 24-inch LED monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse complete the ready-to-use package for everyday productivity.

Steady performance under continuous load

The six-core i5-8500T runs at a 2.10 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.50 GHz turbo for short bursts. Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives the included display at up to 4096 x 2304 resolution at 60 Hz. Thermal design targets sustained office workloads rather than extended heavy compute or gaming sessions.

Replaces a tower workstation when space is tight

The tiny chassis fits behind a monitor or on a small desk, removing the bulk of a traditional desktop. Integrated graphics limit 3D capability, so buyers who need discrete GPU performance should look elsewhere. The 512GB SSD and 8GB of DDR4 cover typical business applications without further upgrades.

Questions about this item

How much fan noise and heat does the i5-8500T produce when the M720q runs all day?

The 2.10 GHz base and 3.50 GHz turbo processor stays cool enough for continuous office work; the tiny chassis uses a small internal fan that is audible but not intrusive in a typical room.

What cables or peripherals must I already own to use the 24 inch LED monitor and the mini PC together?

The bundle includes a wireless keyboard and mouse plus the monitor; the M720q connects to the display via HDMI or DisplayPort, both of which are on the unit.

Will the Intel UHD Graphics 630 drive my older 1080p projector over HDMI while the 24 inch monitor uses DisplayPort?

Yes, the graphics supports up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz and can drive two displays simultaneously, so a 1080p projector on HDMI works alongside the monitor.
