Compact all-in-one for office work

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q Tiny combines a 24 inch FHD IPS display with an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.10 GHz. Six cores and 16 GB of DDR4 memory handle everyday business applications, web browsing and multitasking in a space-saving micro form factor. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Bundled input and connectivity

A USB keyboard and mouse are included so the system is ready to use straight from the box. Wireless networking is provided by a USB dongle capable of 5 GHz operation, while a DVD-ROM drive adds legacy media support. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics drive the built-in panel without a discrete card.

Dual-drive storage layout

The 128 GB M.2 SSD holds the operating system and core programmes for fast boot and load times. A 1 TB hard drive supplies bulk capacity for documents, archives and local backups. Memory can be expanded to 32 GB DDR4 if workloads grow, though the integrated graphics and 65 W processor limit suitability for intensive 3D or video tasks.

Questions about this item

How much DDR4 memory can the M720q Tiny accept if I want to upgrade later?

The system supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 UDIMM, so the installed 16 GB can be doubled.

Which component will hit its thermal ceiling first when the i5-8500 runs at 4.1 GHz for long periods?

The 65 W processor is the primary heat source in the micro form factor chassis under sustained load.

How loud does the M720q Tiny get when the DVD-ROM and both drives are active all day?

The micro chassis uses a small internal fan; sustained drive and optical activity will raise fan speed and audible noise.
