Complete gaming desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720t tower ships with an Intel Core i5-8500 processor running at 3.00 GHz base and 4.10 GHz turbo, 16GB DDR4 memory, a 256GB SSD and an NVIDIA GT 1030 graphics card with 2GB GDDR5. A 24-inch LED monitor, RGB keyboard and RGB mouse are included, and Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate use.

Bundled peripherals and connectivity

The RGB keyboard and mouse provide a coordinated lighting style without separate purchases, while the integrated Wi-Fi adapter enables wireless networking alongside the single RJ45 port. Front-panel access includes five USB ports and two audio jacks for headsets or external speakers.

GT 1030 performance ceiling

The GT 1030 is an entry-level dedicated GPU suited to casual gaming, multimedia playback and light creative work; it will not deliver high frame rates in modern demanding titles at elevated settings. The 256GB SSD capacity also limits the number of large games or media libraries that can be stored locally.

Questions about this item

Will the 16GB DDR4 memory need upgrading later?

The 16GB DDR4 capacity suits current mainstream workloads; the board accepts standard DDR4 modules if you decide to add more capacity later.

What limits sustained performance first on the i5-8500?

The 6-core i5-8500 runs at 3.00GHz base and 4.10GHz turbo; under long loads the CPU reaches its thermal envelope before memory or storage become bottlenecks.

How loud and hot does the tower get when it runs all day?

The M720t tower uses a standard air cooler; fan noise rises under continuous load but remains at typical office levels, and case temperatures stay within normal desktop ranges.
