Lenovo ThinkCentre M720t Tower Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720t is a tower desktop PC built around an Intel Core i5-8500 processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB SSD. An NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 dedicated graphics card with GDDR5 memory handles visual tasks. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed, and RGB keyboard, mouse and headphones are included in the box.

Check power supply and expansion space before

The system uses a proprietary tower chassis with a front panel that provides five USB ports and two audio ports. A single RJ45 Ethernet port handles wired networking. Verify that the internal power supply delivers the connectors and wattage required for any graphics card or storage upgrades you plan to add.

Sustained load behaviour with i5-8500 and GT 1030

The six-core i5-8500 runs at a 3.00GHz base frequency and can reach 4.10GHz turbo frequency, while the GT 1030 provides dedicated graphics memory for steady frame rates in lighter titles. Under prolonged workloads the tower form factor allows airflow through the chassis, keeping component temperatures stable during extended gaming or multitasking sessions.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the RGB keyboard, mouse and headphones shown in the photos, or must they be bought separately?

The bundle ships with a USB RGB keyboard, a USB RGB mouse and a set of RGB headphones already in the box, so no extra purchase is needed for those accessories.

The i5-8500 is listed with a 3.00 GHz base and a 4.10 GHz turbo — which speed will I actually see under load?

Under sustained multi-core workloads the processor runs at its 3.00 GHz base; the 4.10 GHz turbo is reached only for short bursts when thermal headroom allows.

Will the 256 GB SSD and 32 GB of DDR4 be enough for modern games and heavy multitasking?

The 256 GB drive holds the OS and a handful of titles, while 32 GB of DDR4 gives plenty of headroom for streaming, browser tabs and background apps alongside gaming.
