Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 SFF Desktop

This small-form-factor desktop ships new with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-4570 processor running at 3.20 GHz up to 3.60 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 memory and a 1 TB SSD. It includes a WiFi adapter, keyboard and mouse, while a monitor is not included.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 handles everyday office workloads and video playback without a discrete card. USB 3.0 ports move data up to 10 times faster than previous USB technologies and remain backward-compatible for older peripherals.

Build and Connectivity

The black SFF chassis fits tight desk spaces and uses an Intel motherboard with two DIMM slots running DDR3 at 1600 MHz, supporting up to 16 GB total. Onboard Ethernet provides wired networking, and the supplied WiFi adapter adds wireless flexibility.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the Core i5-4570 produce when the Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 SFF runs all day?

The 64-bit Intel Core i5-4570 operates at a 3.20 GHz base frequency and can reach 3.60 GHz under load, so sustained use will generate typical desktop-class heat and fan noise for a small-form-factor chassis.

What must I already own for this desktop to work out of the box?

A display with a compatible video input, because the system ships without a monitor and relies on the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 for video output.

Will my existing DDR3 modules work alongside the installed 16 GB in the ThinkCentre M73 SFF?

The board provides two non-ECC DDR3 DIMM slots running at 1600 MHz, but the 16 GB already installed matches the 16 GB maximum supported, so no additional modules can be added.
