ThinkCentre M75Q Gen 2 Tiny PC

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M75Q Gen 2 is a micro form factor desktop built for business environments where desk space is limited. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and activated, ready for immediate deployment in office or home-office settings. The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE processor provides six cores and twelve threads for everyday productivity workloads. Buyers who need a tower chassis with multiple drive bays should look elsewhere.

Installation and common issues

The unit arrives as a complete system with an AC adapter included, so setup only requires connecting power, a display and peripherals. Wireless connectivity is built in, reducing cable clutter for clean desk arrangements. A single USB Type-C port and several USB-A ports handle most accessories without adapters. The integrated Radeon graphics share system memory, so the 8 GB DDR4 may limit performance in graphics-heavy tasks.

Sustained load behaviour

Air cooling in the tiny chassis manages heat from the 3.4 GHz processor during typical office workloads such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. The 256 GB NVMe drive keeps boot times and application launches responsive throughout the day. Extended heavy compute tasks may cause thermal throttling due to the compact cooling solution. The system is designed for steady business use rather than continuous maximum CPU utilisation.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE is running at its 3.4GHz base speed after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab and choose CPU; the base speed shown should read 3.4GHz while the system is idle.

Which peripherals and cables are included, and what must I supply myself?

The box contains the Tiny desktop and its matching AC adapter only; you will need to provide a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any display cables.

Should I choose the 8GB DDR4 / 256GB NVMe configuration or look for a larger memory and storage option?

The 8GB DDR4 and 256GB NVMe fit typical office workloads; select a higher-capacity version only if you routinely run many apps simultaneously or store large local files.
