Lenovo ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 Ryzen 7 PRO 8700G

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5 is a small form factor desktop built for business users who need responsive multitasking in a compact chassis. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8700G processor with 32GB of memory and a 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 TLC Opal SSD. Integrated AMD Radeon 780M graphics handle everyday visual workloads without a discrete card.

Upgrading from older SFF workstations

This system replaces ageing small form factor PCs that struggle with modern AI-accelerated workloads and heavier multitasking. The jump is worth it when your current machine cannot keep up with simultaneous applications or lacks hardware-based security such as discrete TPM 2.0. Buyers who need more internal drive bays or multiple discrete graphics cards should look elsewhere.

Simple SFF deployment

The small form factor design fits standard business desks and supports tool-less access for memory or storage upgrades. Integrated graphics remove the need to install a separate GPU for up to five monitors with optional discrete graphics. Ensure your display connectors match the available video outputs before deployment.

Questions about this item

Will the 2280 M.2 SSD fit the motherboard slot?

Yes, the 1 TB SSD uses the 2280 form factor that matches the M.2 slot on the M75s Gen 5 board.

Which screw secures the M.2 drive during installation?

The M.2 2280 SSD is held by a single retention screw; forgetting that screw is the most common oversight.

When should the dTPM 2.0 module be replaced?

The discrete TPM 2.0 is soldered to the motherboard and is not a user-replaceable part.
