Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 Tiny Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 is a compact business desktop built around a 10th Gen Intel Core i5-10500 six-core processor. It ships with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD for fast boot and load times. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and activated. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles display output via HDMI and DisplayPort.

Suits office workers needing a small footprint PC

This Tiny form factor fits on a desk, behind a monitor or in a rack mount where space is limited. The 65W processor and included air cooling handle everyday productivity, web apps and multi-monitor setups. Buyers who need discrete graphics for CAD, rendering or gaming should look elsewhere. The system has no optical drive and no dedicated GPU slot.

Check your peripherals and mounting plans

No keyboard, mouse or monitor are included, so budget for those separately. Verify your display uses HDMI or DisplayPort inputs. The single USB-C port is USB 3.2 Gen 1; confirm it matches your docking station or accessory requirements. Internal Wi-Fi is present, but wired Gigabit Ethernet is also available for stable network connections.

Questions about this item

Does the ThinkCentre M90q Gen 1 need a separate monitor, keyboard and mouse to operate?

Yes, the desktop is sold without a monitor, keyboard or mouse, so you must provide your own display and input devices.

Can I keep using my older USB 2.0 flash drives with the USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports on this unit?

The USB 3.2 ports are backward compatible, so USB 2.0 drives will work at their native speed.

How can I verify the 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD is recognised after first boot?

Open File Explorer or Disk Management in Windows 11 Pro; the drive should appear as a 1 TB NVMe volume with the operating system installed.
