Ultra-compact business desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90q Gen 2 is a Tiny-form-factor desktop built for office and home workspaces that need full desktop performance in minimal space. It ships with an Intel Core i5-11500 six-core processor running at 2.7 GHz, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe M.2 SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and activated so the system is ready to use immediately.

Fits a minimal setup

The chassis includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one DisplayPort and one HDMI output for dual-display support. Gigabit Ethernet and internal Wi-Fi handle wired and wireless networking. No keyboard, mouse, monitor or speakers are included, so buyers add only the peripherals they prefer.

Steps up from basic office PCs

The 65 W full-power i5-11500 with 12 MB cache and 12 threads replaces low-power T-series processors found in many ultra-small PCs, making the jump worthwhile for sustained multitasking and heavier productivity workloads. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 750 covers everyday visual tasks without a discrete card. Buyers who need more than 256 GB of fast storage or discrete graphics for intensive creative work will need to look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 65 W Intel Core i5-11500 behave when all six cores run flat-out for hours?

The 65 W processor is cooled by the built-in air-cooling system designed for the tiny chassis; sustained full-load operation will hit the thermal ceiling of that cooler before the CPU reaches its own power limit.

What fan noise and case temperature should I expect after a full workday?

The compact air cooler spins up under continuous load, producing audible airflow; the metal case becomes warm to the touch but stays within normal operating range for a tiny-form-factor PC.

Which peripherals are not in the box and must be supplied separately?

No monitor, keyboard, mouse or external speaker set is included; you need to provide your own display (via HDMI or DisplayPort), input devices and audio output.
