Compact desktop with 8th-generation Intel Core i5, 8 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB NVMe storage running Windows 11 Pro
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M920 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i5-8500 processor with six cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.10 GHz. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system includes a keyboard and mouse.
The compact chassis uses the integrated Intel HD Graphics 630, which keeps heat output modest during typical productivity workloads. Fan noise stays low when handling documents, web browsing or video playback. The 8GB DDR4 configuration and single NVMe drive draw limited power under normal office conditions.
This unit replaces older tower PCs where desk space is at a premium and a full Windows 11 Pro licence is required. The jump is worthwhile when moving from a mechanical hard drive to NVMe storage for faster boot and application load times. It is not suited for buyers who need discrete graphics performance, additional internal drive bays or memory capacity beyond the single 8GB module.

Open the chassis, insert the NVMe module into the M.2 slot at a 30-degree angle, then secure it with the screw; the step people forget is tightening that screw so the drive stays seated.
The DDR4 SO-DIMM slots support up to 64GB total; you can add matching modules later or replace the existing stick if you need more capacity.
The integrated GPU shares system memory and thermal headroom with the i5-8500, so extended heavy rendering hits thermal throttling before the 256GB NVMe or 8GB DDR4 become bottlenecks.
