Compact workstation for office and home use

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Mini is a small-form-factor desktop that ships with a 22-inch monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-6700T processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe drive. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 drives the included display without a discrete card.

Processor speed and core count decide fit

The i7-6700T runs at up to 3.60 GHz with four cores, a level that handles typical business applications and multitasking. Buyers who need higher sustained clock rates or more cores for rendering or compilation should look elsewhere.

Simple setup with common pitfalls

Connect the monitor via DisplayPort, plug in power and pair the wireless peripherals; the system boots to a configured Windows 11 Pro desktop. Missing driver updates for the integrated graphics or Wi-Fi adapter are the most frequent post-install issues.

Questions about this item

What real-world speed will the 3.60 GHz i7-6700T sustain under load?

The processor runs at up to 3.60 GHz on turbo; base frequency is lower, so sustained performance depends on the Mini chassis cooling and workload.

How many 4K displays can the two DisplayPort outputs drive simultaneously?

Intel HD Graphics 530 supports up to three independent displays; the two rear DisplayPort ports can each drive a 4K panel at 60 Hz.

Will a standard VESA bracket mount the Mini behind the 22 inch monitor?

The ThinkCentre Mini includes a VESA mount bracket, so it can attach directly to the back of the included 22 inch display.
