ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 i5-1135G7 2TB SSD

This 14.0 inch laptop combines an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD and 8GB DDR4 memory. The 1920 x 1080 touchscreen IPS display supports direct interaction for business tasks. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle everyday workloads and video playback. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed on the upgraded configuration.

Check RAM slots and Thunderbolt cable rating

The system ships with 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM installed; verify the number of free slots before planning a memory upgrade. Thunderbolt 4 uses a USB Type-C port — confirm any dock or peripheral cable is certified for 40 Gb/s operation. Wi-Fi 6 AX201 and Bluetooth 5.1 require compatible router and accessory firmware for full performance. The 65W power adapter uses a proprietary connector; spares must match the tip size.

Velztorm upgrade adds storage and OS

The supplier opens the factory box to install the 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD and load Windows 10 Pro, so the laptop arrives ready to deploy without further drive cloning. A fingerprint reader and 720p HD webcam are standard hardware, not add-ons, and work with Windows Hello immediately. Backlit keyboard and RJ-45 Ethernet are also built-in features included in the base chassis.

Questions about this item

Does the laptop ship with the 65 W power supply and 45 Wh battery, or must I buy a charger separately?

The box includes the 65 W power supply and the 3-cell 45 Wh battery already installed.

Should I choose the 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD or look for a larger drive?

The 2 TB PCIe NVMe SSD is the only storage fitted; there is no second drive bay, so capacity cannot be expanded internally.

How does the 2.40 GHz Core i5-1135G7 with 4.2 GHz turbo perform in daily workloads?

Four cores and eight threads at up to 4.2 GHz handle office apps, web browsing and video calls smoothly.
