Business ultraportable with integrated graphics

The ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 is a 14-inch laptop built for professionals who need a lightweight Windows 11 Pro machine with a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. An Intel Core i5-1235U processor with 10 cores and a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency drives everyday workloads. Integrated graphics handle standard office applications and video playback. The system ships with 24 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD.

Suits mobile office workers; not for heavy GPU tasks

This configuration fits travelling staff, remote teams and students who prioritise battery life and portability over discrete graphics power. The integrated GPU cannot accelerate 3D rendering, CAD or modern gaming workloads. Buyers who need dedicated graphics memory or higher sustained clock speeds should look at a different class of device. The 802.11ac wireless adapter provides standard Wi-Fi connectivity.

24 GB soldered memory ceiling

The unit comes with 24 GB of RAM installed and the platform supports up to 40 GB maximum. No memory slots are accessible for user upgrades beyond that limit. If your workflow regularly exceeds 24 GB — large datasets, virtual machines or heavy multitasking — the fixed ceiling becomes the deciding factor. Otherwise the 1 TB SSD and 10-core processor cover typical business needs.
