Mobile workstation for professional workflows

The ThinkPad P1 G4 combines an Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor with an NVIDIA T1200 GPU in a 16.0 inch chassis. Sixteen gigabytes of memory and a 512 GB SSD support demanding applications. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Display and memory ceiling

The 2560 x 1600 WQXGA IPS panel is fixed at 16.0 inches with no touchscreen option. Two memory slots exist but only 16 GB is installed, so expansion beyond that requires opening the system. No optical drive is present for legacy media.

Replaces older mobile workstations

This unit upgrades from earlier ThinkPad P-series models that used lower-resolution screens and previous-generation graphics. The jump is worthwhile when colour-accurate 1600p output and dedicated GPU acceleration are required for CAD or content creation. Buyers who need more than 512 GB of internal storage or a higher-wattage GPU should look elsewhere.
