16" AI Mobile Workstation

The 16" Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 is a mobile workstation built for developers, CAD specialists and creative professionals who demand power without bulk. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H vPro processor with 64GB memory and a 2TB SSD. The NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU with 8GB GDDR7 handles fast visual rendering. Windows 11 Pro provides the operating environment.

Installation and Common Issues

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the 2TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen5 SSD and 64GB memory installed, so no internal hardware setup is required. The 4-cell Lithium Ion battery is integrated and not user-replaceable. The 60Hz IPS panel does not support touch input. The backlit keyboard option is not present on this configuration. Weight is listed as 1.00 lbs in the supplied data.

Interface and Practical Limits

The dedicated NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU uses 8GB GDDR7 memory for graphics workloads. The 2TB SSD connects via an M.2 2280 PCIe Gen5 interface for high-speed storage throughput. The 16" display operates at a 60Hz refresh rate. The Intel Core Ultra 9 285H vPro processor includes AI processing capabilities for enhanced workflows. The single-core processor designation in the specifications may not reflect the full core count.
