Mobile workstation with i7-8850H

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is a 15.6-inch laptop built around an Intel Core i7-8850H processor. It ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and includes the power adapter. The non-touch display runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution. This configuration targets professionals who need a portable system for content creation or engineering applications.

16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of memory allows smooth multitasking across office suites, browser tabs and lighter development workloads. The 512 GB solid-state drive holds the operating system, applications and active project files with room to spare. Memory-intensive tasks such as large dataset analysis or heavy virtualisation will exhaust the available RAM. Storage-heavy workflows involving raw video or extensive asset libraries will require external or cloud expansion.

Ready-to-use professional laptop

The unit arrives professionally tested and cleaned with the charger in the box, so it integrates immediately into an existing workspace. The 15.6-inch form factor fits standard laptop bags and docks without special mounting hardware. Battery health is rated good, supporting mobile work away from fixed power outlets. Buyers who need upgradeable memory slots or a second drive bay should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the i7-8850H processor and 16 GB RAM keep up with my older docking station and external 1080p display?

The i7-8850H is a 6-core mobile workstation CPU and 16 GB of memory handles typical multi-monitor workloads through the laptop's native video outputs.

How can I verify the 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 panel and Windows 11 Pro are performing correctly after first boot?

Check Device Manager shows the display at 1920 x 1080, run the built-in Windows display calibration, and confirm Windows 11 Pro edition in Settings > System > About.

The listing says laptop and charger only — do I need to buy a separate docking station or monitor cable?

The box contains the ThinkPad P1 and its power adapter; any dock, external monitor cable or peripheral is a separate purchase.
