14" FHD Touchscreen Mobile Workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 is a 14.0 inch business laptop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U 8-core processor with a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 32GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional use.

DDR4 Memory Fixed at 32GB

This unit has one memory slot which is fully occupied by the 32GB DDR4 module. No slots remain available for upgrades. The processor supports a maximum of 48 GB, so an increase would require replacing the installed module. Buyers who need more memory than 32GB must plan for a full module swap.

Integrated Radeon Graphics Only

Graphics are handled by the integrated AMD Radeon solution built into the Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U. There is no discrete GPU option in this chassis. The HDMI port and two USB-C Gen 2 ports drive external displays. This laptop is not for users who require dedicated graphics acceleration.

Questions about this item

Is the 32GB DDR4 on a single module or split across two slots?

All 32GB of DDR4 memory occupies the only slot on the board, leaving no free slot for an upgrade.

How does the 4.4GHz turbo on the 8-core Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U behave under sustained load?

The 4.4GHz turbo is a peak single-core speed; all-core clocks will settle lower depending on thermals and power limits.

What display outputs do the two USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 ports and the HDMI port support?

Both USB-C ports and the HDMI port can drive external monitors, with the USB-C ports also carrying data and power.
