ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 AMD Ryzen 7 PRO

The Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 is a 14.0 inch mobile workstation powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 5850U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. It ships with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe drive. A 1920 x 1080 IPS touchscreen and AMD Radeon graphics handle visual tasks. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Professionals needing portable multi-thread

This suit professionals who need eight-core processing, 32GB RAM and touchscreen input in a 14 inch chassis for coding, office suites or light creative work on the move. Buyers who want more internal storage or discrete graphics for heavy 3D rendering should look elsewhere.

256GB NVMe and 32GB DDR4 headroom

The 256GB NVMe drive holds the operating system, applications and active project files comfortably; large media libraries will require external or cloud storage. The 32GB DDR4 memory provides ample headroom for running virtual machines, containers and multiple browser tabs simultaneously without paging.

Questions about this item

Does the 256 GB NVMe drive leave a free M.2 slot for a second SSD?

The laptop ships with a single 256 GB NVMe drive; the supplied data does not confirm an additional M.2 slot.

Can the USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 ports drive a legacy HDMI monitor through a passive adapter?

The two USB-C Gen 2 ports support video output, so a passive USB-C to HDMI adapter will work with older displays.

How can I verify the 14.0" 1920 x 1080 touchscreen and Radeon graphics are active after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings to confirm 1920 x 1080 resolution and touch input, then check Device Manager for AMD Radeon Graphics.
