Mobile workstation for professionals

The Lenovo ThinkPad P15s Gen 2 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built for engineers and designers who need certified graphics on the move. It pairs an Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor with an NVIDIA T500 GPU carrying 4GB of GDDR6 memory. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 ports handle external displays and fast peripherals.

Step up from integrated graphics

This configuration replaces laptops that rely on integrated graphics for CAD, 3D modelling or rendering workflows. The discrete T500 with dedicated video memory makes the jump worthwhile when viewport performance and driver certification matter. Thunderbolt 4 adds high-speed docking and external GPU flexibility for heavier sessions back at the desk.

Suits certified-app users on the go

Buyers who need ISV-certified drivers, a 1080p non-touch display and a full port selection in a thin chassis will find it fits. Users who want more than 8GB of system memory, a higher-resolution panel or a larger GPU for intensive simulation should look at something else.
