Mobile workstation with discrete graphics

The Lenovo ThinkPad P15s Gen 2 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor with 4 cores and 8 threads. It integrates 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe SSD. The NVIDIA T500 GPU provides 4 GB of GDDR6 video memory for professional applications.

Suited for portable CAD and ISV workloads

This configuration fits engineers and designers who need certified drivers and a colour-accurate 1920 x 1080 display while travelling. Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.0 support external monitors and docks. Buyers who need more system memory or a higher-wattage GPU for real-time rendering should evaluate alternative configurations.

8 GB soldered memory limits multitasking headroom

The single most decisive specification is the 8 GB DDR4 capacity, which cannot be upgraded. It determines whether the laptop can hold large assemblies, point-cloud data or virtual machines alongside the operating system and creative suite.
