Mobile workstation with 2TB PCIe SSD

The Lenovo ThinkPad P17 Gen 2 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation running Windows 11 Pro. It pairs an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-11850H with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The NVIDIA RTX A2000 4GB GDDR6 provides dedicated graphics for professional applications. Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6E and a fingerprint reader complete the feature set.

For engineers who need certified drivers

This suits buyers who require ISV-certified stability, a 60Hz 1920 x 1080 IPS display and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports for docks or external GPUs. The 94 WHr battery and 170W adapter support long sessions away from mains power. It is not for buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher refresh panel, a lighter chassis or a newer processor architecture than 11th Gen Intel Core.

RTX A2000 4GB GDDR6 decides fit

The single specification that decides fit is the NVIDIA RTX A2000 with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. It delivers certified performance for CAD, DCC and visualization workloads that rely on professional drivers. If your software demands more video memory or a higher GPU tier, this configuration will not meet the requirement.
