17.3" UHD Mobile Workstation

The Lenovo ThinkPad P17 Gen 2 20YU0061US is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation with a UHD IPS display at 3840 x 2160 resolution. It runs an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11800H processor at 3.20GHz with 16GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 512GB drive. Professional NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics with 4GB GDDR6 handle ISV-certified engineering applications. The 500-nit anti-glare panel supports Dolby Vision HDR and factory colour calibration for accurate visual work.

Installation and Common Issues

The system arrives fully assembled with Windows pre-installed, so initial setup follows the standard Windows out-of-box experience. Memory uses SODIMM slots if upgrades are needed later. The 512GB drive is the primary storage; buyers who want more storage should verify the number of available drive bays before ordering. The 8.07 lbs weight makes frequent carrying less practical than smaller ultraportables.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Confirm your workflow relies on ISV-certified drivers for the RTX A2000 and 11th Gen Intel platform. The 17.3-inch UHD panel at 500 nits is non-touch despite the broad category listing; touch input is not supported on this specific configuration. Ensure your software licences are compatible with the installed Windows version. The 16GB DDR4-3200 configuration uses two 8GB modules; future expansion depends on total slot count.
