Mobile workstation with ISV graphics

The Lenovo ThinkPad P53 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around a six-core Intel Core i7-9850H processor that reaches 4.6 GHz. It ships with Windows 10 Pro, 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a combined 2 TB NVME plus 1 TB hard drive. An NVIDIA Quadro T1000 with 4 GB of video memory drives the FHD IPS display.

Suited to certified CAD and data workloads

Engineers and analysts who rely on ISV-certified drivers for 3-D modelling, simulation or AI development will find the Quadro T1000 a good fit. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel covers 72 % colour gamut at 300 nits. Buyers who need a touchscreen or a higher refresh-rate panel should look elsewhere because this unit lacks those features.

Quadro T1000 with 4 GB VRAM

The single specification that decides suitability is the professional GPU and its 4 GB of dedicated video memory. It enables certified OpenGL performance for SolidWorks, CATIA and similar applications. If a project demands more GPU memory or a higher-tier Quadro card, this configuration will not meet that requirement.

The 6-core i7-9850H operates at a 2.60 GHz base with a 4.6 GHz turbo; the mobile workstation chassis is built for sustained loads, and the Quadro T1000 4 GB GPU shares the thermal solution.

What must I already own to use the 2TB NVME + 1TB HDD storage and 32GB DDR4 RAM?

The laptop ships with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed on the 2TB NVME drive, 32GB DDR4 memory fitted, and a fingerprint reader ready for login.

Will my older 1920x1080 monitors work with the Quadro T1000 outputs?
