Mobile workstation with Quadro graphics

The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro. It pairs a quad-core Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor at 2.70 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SATA SSD. Dedicated NVIDIA Quadro M2000M graphics with 4 GB GDDR5 drive the 1920 x 1080 FHD display. Thunderbolt 3, HDMI and Mini DisplayPort handle external monitors.

Suits ISV-certified workloads.

Engineers and designers who rely on certified drivers for CAD, CAE or DCC applications will find the Quadro M2000M a direct fit. The non-touch FHD panel keeps power draw low for field work. Buyers who want a touchscreen, higher-resolution panel or a GPU architecture newer than Maxwell should look at something else.

Quadro M2000M 4 GB GDDR5 decides ISV compatibility

The dedicated Quadro M2000M with 4 GB GDDR5 is the specification that determines whether this laptop runs your certified software stack. If the ISV list for your application requires this GPU or its driver branch, the P50 meets that requirement; if the list calls for a newer architecture or more video memory, it does not.
